Assuredly Random June 10, 2009
Still alive…
So I’m up late working on a small web project and decided I need to take my eyes away from the source code for a few minutes…what better time to blog than 12:45AM on a Wednesday? I know it’s been entirely too long since my last post, but lately I’m of the opinion my time is better spent with my wife and 17-month old angel-of-a-baby-girl.
I thought now might be a good time to begin a series of posts to elaborate on a few of my recently-developed (read new, exciting, confusing, intriguing) interests and happenings.
Among the topics I’ll gradually cover over the next few months, you ask? Here’s a (mild) list:
- My first foray into the world of investing: “Pffft, what’s the worst that could happen with the market down so much already?” (I said this at the beginning of June, 2008. Feel free to see what the markets did shortly afterward…)
- My latest revelations during life as a new dad: All the poop and boogers in the world could never take away from my little girl’s infectious laugh…
- The newest developments with our lovely home…I know; who’d think we could keep it up for another year, right?
- Everyday awkward moments…I’m debating registering a particular URL to give this topic its own place under the sun. I know, I know, there are plenty of sites loaded with wonderfully-awkward material, but I’m not sure I know anyone who can get enough. There are too many awesomely, horrifically, heart-breakingly awkward stories to be told to let them go to waste.
